in the Australian Western film The Proposition

written by Nick Cave
Roger Ebert gives the film 4 stars, and wonderfully articulates in his 2006 review:
"... the most gnarled and cured by the sun is Jellon Lamb, played by John Hurt
as if he is made of jerky."
